SKIFF: NPR & STARS Transition
SKIFF is a new service developed by Gradient Blue and offered through SHIPtools (used by several SHIP programs for over ten years) that converts a program’s client and event files to the new API framework and sends those records to the new SHIP Tracking and Reporting System (STARS).
Upload and Review
Upload your client and event files prepared from your proprietary system.
You upload your client and event files into Skiff via files prepared by your proprietary system.
Validate and Convert
Convert your records from your system to the STARS API framework.
Skiff converts the client or event records in a file to the new STARS API framework. In Skiff you can review the conversion status of each record in a file and make corrections to individual records if needed.
Send and Verify
Send your converted records to STARS.
Skiff sends your client and event records to STARS upon completion of their conversion to the API framework. You can track record submission and review the status of client and event records sent to STARS.
